It is the same in terms of weight loss. To succeed, it must change its habits, not only food, but of life in general. This is what is called a behavioral change.
The steps that make such a change have also been studied in depth, and are called Trans-theoretical model of change.
Here is my opinion on this model and its effectiveness.
The steps of the natural diet for Weight Loss:
Precontemplation:
Therein, one generally has no intention of making any changes whatsoever to their lifestyle.
Either we consider to have no problem, either one is just fine as is.
We will then look for all kinds of excuses: “It’s too hard to lose weight”, “things are not so males as they are”, or “I do not need to be thinner to be happier. ”
The good news is that if you are watching this video, you probably beyond that.
Contemplation:
This is the second step. Generally is one in which the majority of you.
You know what you have to do or not, you are looking for information.
It is during this phase that you will make the decision whether to go ahead and make the necessary changes to your lifestyle to lose weight effectively.
Unfortunately, there are those who never go beyond this stage.
Preparation:
This is the third step, and also one of the most important.
You found all the information you are looking for, and are now weighing the “for” and “cons.”
You feel able to achieve your goal, and are increasingly convinced that the game is worth the candle.
Gradually, you prepare the transition, and even begin to establish new habits, such as drinking more water or walk more.
You congratulate you because you have made the right decision.
Above all, you do things in order.
Number of people jump this step and go directly from contemplation to the next step, which is action.
Unfortunately, they do not realize that by doing so, they reduce their chances of success.
Because any change is brewing. And whatever you start now is definitely one of the most important.
Action:
This is the fourth step, and certainly the most difficult of all. Arriving at this point, you will either move to the next step, relapse and go back to square 1 or 2.
Nothing wrong with that, I assure you.
Only perfect people commit no error.
Once at this stage, it is time to implement your good resolutions.
Replace your bad habits with healthier habits. To detach yourself from food emotionally.
Prepare also to not pass doubts phases. You will need support and encouragement.
Be sure to surround yourself with the right people.
This stage lasts about six months.
If you managed to keep your commitments past this period, you have every chance to continue the momentum. This means that your life is changed forever.
Retention:
This is the fifth and final stage.
You normally have achieved the goals that you set out, have given up most of your bad habits in favor of healthier foods and exercise, and for at least six months.
You can now turn around and contemplate the path you have traveled.
This is also the time when you are fully aware of the improvements you’ve made in your life.
Your body is transformed from within and from outside, everyone can see, even those who did not particularly supported you.
You will realize that this lifestyle, healthy, active, is as easy to live the old one was at the time.
